So many parents panic when it comes close to Christmas time. They want to buy small presents or stocking fillers for their kids and have no idea on what to buy. We have all been down this road of looking for small inexpensive items and running, finally, out of time. Often we end up spending beyond our budget and choosing something totally unsuitable that ends up in the cupboard.
Girls are actually very easy to buy for and you can pick up some reasonably priced trinkets and jewellery that they will love. Bracelets that glow hair grips or scrunchies. Anything smelly also goes down well such as bath bombs, scented lip balm and bubble bath.
Many high street fashion stores sell inexpensive accessories such as belts, tights and scarves. With a little imagination you can make the most meagre budget stretch pretty far when it comes to choosing for girls.
Boys are a little trickier in my opinion but again you need not spend the earth if you choose carefully. Torches and compasses are always a good bet. In fact anything which equates to adventure is always well received. Action DVDs and books are popular and you can find these at hugely discounted prices on the internet.
Kits are always perfect for boys too. Anything which they can make something with such as small whittling kits, boat building kits or airfix kits. They will spend many weeks after Christmas, assembling or painting their new plane or boat and it will keep them occupied for hours.
